PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

H05VVH2-F is a type of flat polyvinyl chloride (PVC) insulated and sheathed flexible cable based on the European HAR standard. It is commonly used in household appliances, office equipment and lighting fixtures with moderate mechanical stress.

These cables are suitable for use in humid environments and in medium-sized mechanical equipment, such as refrigerators, washing machines, dehydrators, and other household appliances. As long as they meet the applicable equipment specifications, these cables can also be used for cooking and heating equipment without directly contacting the hot components of the instrument or any other heat source. Some other applications of these cables include: being fixedly installed in furniture, partition walls, decorations, and reserved building facilities. They are not suitable for outdoor use, industrial (except for clothing manufacturing) or agricultural applications.

H03VV-F and H05VV-F different

H03VV-F is suitable for low-voltage and lightweight scenarios (300/300V), while H05VV-F is applicable to medium-high voltage and high-load scenarios (300/500V). The two differ in terms of flexibility, durability and application environment.

Voltage level
H03VV-F: Rated voltage is 300/300V. Suitable for low-voltage environments, commonly used in lightweight household appliances or temporary power supply situations. 
H05VV-F: Rated voltage is 300/500V. It is more resistant to high voltage and is suitable for main power supply or high-power control circuits.

Conductive materials and insulating materials
Both use multiple strands of fine copper wire twisted together (flexible conductors), with "F" indicating flexible wire, which is easy to bend and install 
The insulation layer and the sheath are both made of PVC material. However, the PVC of H05VV-F may be more resistant to high temperatures and mechanical stress.

Flexibility and Durability
H03VV-F: Lightweight, with good flexibility, suitable for low mechanical stress environments, easy to carry and suitable for temporary use 
H05VV-F: More robust and durable, capable of withstanding high mechanical stress and long-term continuous operation, suitable for industrial environments and high-load conditions.

Core number selection
2 cores: Suitable for single-phase power supply or simple switch control.
3 cores: With a ground wire, suitable for devices requiring grounding.
4-5 cores: Can simultaneously transmit power and control signals, suitable for complex control systems.
